Hello, kind folks! My name is Duke, a 9-year-old furball with a love for life and a tale that spans from the tragedy of abandonment to the unconditional love of a forever home. On a life-changing November Steven walked into my life—and I knew I had found my home. Over the years, he brought home a mommy for me, and along came her dog who is now my adorable brother.

I may not wear a crown, but I sure feel like royalty in my home! I revel in being pampered, sitting like a supermodel while my mommy takes care of my grooming needs. My days are filled with scrumptious food, playtime with my brother, and of course, going on mini-adventures. But the cherry on top? Snuggle time with my entire family—there’s no place I’d rather be.

I can’t contain my love for my family. Every time they walk through the door, they’re greeted with my signature growl, followed by zoomies all over the house. And cuddles? Count me in! The moment anyone sits, I make a beeline for their lap to lay across them in my signature back-lounging pose.

Duke’s Medical Crisis

In June 2023, our lives took an unexpected turn. Our veterinarian diagnosed me with a complete right cranial cruciate ligament rupture and recommended a TPLO surgery—known as an osteotomy. My humans have been angels, installing ramps, fencing around the couch, and even removing the bed frame to make my life easier until they could save enough for my surgery.

The price for my much-needed surgery totals $2,000, a sum that we’re hoping to raise with your kind help.
